Restaurant review Holly Hill Inn, Richmond.

Typical Yorkshire pub with accommodation located on the outskirts of Richmond in North Yorkshire. Definitely a locals pub but was met with a smile from the friendly bar staff. Decent menu choice of home cooked food reasonably priced at just over a tenner for most items. Opted for the fish and chips which was huge and not for the faint hearted, succulent white meaty fish covered in a crispy batter, served with homemade chips and a pot of mushy peas(a true Yorkshire delicacy !!!) Other tasty looking options included chicken skewers and beef bourguinon. Overall well satisfied and well looked after by the pleasant waiting staff. Liked it that much decided to stay the night to be met with a full English for breakfast in the morning. Nice pint of Blacksheep by the way. Highly recommended.
