So the old wool market in Doncaster has had facelift, a 7 million pound one to be exact.

Now a vibrant and bustling location all week long the new wool market offers a welcoming destination for visitors to explore both retail and street food outlets.
First up is a Taste of Peru, thats right you heard it Peruvian food in Donny!!! A small but varied menu serving up the spicy delights from this South American nation. Pictured below is lomo saltado, a sweet but spicy kind of beef stir fry served with chips and rice.

Next up is scrapes which specialises in rolled ice cream pictured below but does everything from ice cream to brownies.

And of course no reputable dining destination would complete without a bar or 2. The Don Valley tap is a traditional real ale bar serving local beers

There is also a gin and prosecco bar serving up fizz and cocktails

Lollie Jades cupcake emporium is another for the sweetoothed among us serving up beautiful little cupcakes at reasonable prices

Was feeling rather full by now, but will definitely be back to try the other vendors.
Movida Tapas with Spanish delicacies

Clucking oinks serving fried chicken and Rustic Pizza with their delicious stone fired pizzas

Their is also a burger joint, a vegan food specialist, Indian and Chinese food available. Couple this with live music(Friday and Saturday night) then you have a great Doncaster destination right on your doorstep. Good luck to all involved, certainly made me smile.
